WELCOME TO MY ARTISTIC PORTFOLIO!
In true multi-hyphenate fashion, this portfolio ranges all the way from odd solo performances to building puppets out of foraged cardboard. Let’s just say: we keep things weird up in here.
My goal as an artist is to focus on amplifying female voices, specifically those that are silenced by domestic partnership. However, I also make sure to include a witty sense of dark humor and puppetry aspects in almost all of my pieces! I am currently focusing on building a trilogy of solo pieces that center around women of different times in history and their struggle with the nuclear family stereotype.
PRETTY PRINCESS KITCHEN TALES

Pretty Princess Kitchen Tales is a fifteen minute solo piece. As an audience member, you watch the main attraction (Pretty Princess) of the birthday party as she processes the feelings of motherhood, postpartum depression, misogyny, ageism and of course, mother-in-laws. This show incorporates the use of an immersive atmosphere and focuses on mask performance, with each mask representing the facade that Pretty Princess must socially put on in order to be approved by those around her.
Pretty Princess Kitchen Tales was performed on December 6th at Point Park University.

Piggy’s Playhouse! :) takes the audience on a journey- specifically, a journey into the live taping on a children’s television network. Inspired by Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, we watch as the show host and her sweet friend Piggy talk about farm life and growing up. Something switches halfway through the show, though, that makes the cameraman come down and make her behave. Using audience interaction techniques, this show is intended to be both endearing and eerie. It makes you question on whether or not you should respond to the host’s prompts.
Piggy’s Playhouse! :) was performed on December 5th-8th, 2024 in the RLM One Acts Festival at Point Park University.
